i lost my dam green scarf.

i've been callin the stupid nj transit lost and found department for 2 days now.. and they still havent found it.
which most likely means.. someone may have actually TAKEN my scarf. (which is stupid because WHO THE HELL TAKES A SCARF?)

either that.. or i dropped it on the street..

anyway. my poor scarf.. i hope it's doing okay.. my black scarf is gettin lots of love lately on the upside.

my mommy's birthday a couple days ago:

she likes corona's with her cake. -_-;;
i normally dont like her drinking.. but i figure it's her birthday... so i let it be.

went to mohegan sun in the senior citizen bus with my grandfather.
he wanted angie and me to go with him for a long time... and i actually did want to try out the buffet there..
so the three of us set off.

i kept tellin him to open his eyes:

nice place i suppose. i lost 2 dollars and angie won 25 bux. not so bad, huh? that's winning in my book.

i tried to take really good pictures in this trip..
i usually dont, but figured the 12 bux would be worth something if i got some good pictures out of it.

the sea lions were huge and would have made excellent pictures.. too bad they never really came out of the water:

well.. no such luck. penguins weren't on exhibit that day..

angie was so hungry we missed out on the 15 min sea lion show.
now she packs chocolate in her bag just incase that sort of thing happens again.
one of those.. i-cant-do-anything-when-i'm-hungry types. X)

i'd like to tell everyone that i have monday off for veterans day.

i will be taking a trip to the brooklyn aquarium.. and of course.. thinking of the veterans as well.
as a matter of fact.. i was thinking about it today.. and i feel veterans do not get enough post treatment after their service.

to expect them to return to what we call "normal" life.. and take on a job and continue to live..
seems.. outrageous.

i realize talking about it is easy..

to make it even worse.. there seems to be no easy solution to even.. talk about.

mmm. it's november. yes yes.. INSANE.

i was at another career fair yesterday.. but this wasnt your usual college career fair..
a bit more age variety in the candidates.
there was one person who stuttered quite a bit.
there was one who was such a busy seller of himself, he hardly gave us a chance to talk..
there was one who came straight out and said.. is this where the money's at?
there was one who looked really jaded..

regardless, they all wanted a job.

job - A regular activity performed in exchange for payment, especially as one's trade, occupation, or profession.

it should be more like:

job - either your life or your way to have a life.

unless, you grew up from a rich family or won the lottery.

mmm.. anyway. ever since i stopped doing yoga, my backache returned.
belly dancing is great, but it just doesnt address my back issue.

speaking of belly dancing.. i'm amazed at its isolated movements of the body.

minah (my friend from elementary-middle school) asked me if i wanted to go rock climbing..

lately, i've been up to do pretty much everything since i have a guest from korea.
with that, it so happens people have been asking me to do things i, myself, never done before in my life.

for instance, maria asked me to go on the brazilian cruise on the hudson (hosted every wednesday) last week:



the brazilian dancers moved so fast, everyone stood around looking at them like creepy stalkers. ofcourse.. these were the non-brazilian people who were incapable of dancing the samba. which included me.





anyway, i was lucky cuz the drinks were expensive but they gave out ONE FREE DRINK tickets when the cruise started. was all i needed anyway.

now.. minah's trip.. was called rock climbing.. but lookin at the mohonk mountain site, rock climbing was about 250 dollars. @.@

so i was assuming we were just going to do the trail hikes.

the place.. took my breath away:

we wanted to eat lunch in the mountain house/hotel, only find out the sunday brunch was 30 bux a person..
so... we just bought the 10 dollar box of biscotti and shared it.

yuta and i like taking walks.. so i cant wait to take him here next time.

i thanked minah for introducing me to this AMAZING place i happend to pass by every other weekend.

angie listened to us reminisce the good/bad old days for about 6 hours~
hehehe. good thing we talked about fun stuff like how cindy and her husband started dating.

HOT, STEAMY stories. lol.

overall.. a very busy, adventurous couple of days.

so  uh.. i know people that dont use firefox cant see my site.
i'm not sure if that's really a bad thing.. but.. either way,

people started droppin out of xanga.. moved on to facebook and non-internet obsessed life.
people dont really read/write xanga anymore..

so.. i'm sure it's not a big number of people that are missin out on this blob of greatness.

i have a guest from korea.. her name is angie (from my chatboard over there)
she is.. my dad's cousin. (but only two years older than me.)

yeah.. dont think about it.. it's an unusual situation.

ofcourse, the minute she got here.. i took her to edgewater to take a look at the beautiful skyline of new york city.
funny.. how it's so much more beautiful... when you look at it from afar.

weeks are going by noticeably faster lately.

i realized i havent been using my camera enough either..

i remember i bought my camera to capture my final college moments..
and now that i'm living the "rest of my life" which = work, i forget that i need to capture these moments as well.

i mean.. despite the fact i'm not a professional photographer and nobody really looks twice at my pictures other than myself..(or use them in articles.. or wallpapers backgrounds... etc) it is something i can do when i'm chilling at a "home" later on in my life.

maybe it'll help me bring back the memories that are trying to escape me.

assuming i'll be losing my memory. i'll update you later on.

ugh.. my new set of invisaligns are killing me..

anyway. i started my belly dancing classes today.
first of all... i'm very not used to being "bad" in class.. because i was the best in class for yoga.
i know yoga isnt about being competitive and i'm not trying to boast.. but honestly, if it was a contest.. i'd be the best. gosh.

HEH.

second of all.. the whole neck thing is really really hard for me.. so i'm going to be practicing that at home.

third of all.. basically all the steps were pretty unusual for me.. so i wasnt "naturally" good at any of the steps.

practice makes almost perfect.

i've wanted kittens all my life.

i've had one cat and two kittens in my life already.

my first cat was pre-second grade..
i dont even remember his/her name... we kept it outside on our porch.
im not sure why it never ran away.
i remember one afternoon, my mom and i took it to the park.

we met a kid and his mom there.

i was playing with the kid.. and the moms were talking.

and then... she and her son took my cat and left the park.

my next kitten was howard. he was orange with stripes.. just like garfield.
my friend emma bononomi's cat had kittens and i was lucky enough to have one.

i loved it with all my heart...

and then, one day, i came home from school and found out my grandma had given it away while i was at school.

finally, in highschool, i saved 50 bux and bought myself a kitten.
she was black with a white patch on her face. i named her jinhee.
i promised my mom i'd keep her in my room.. and she wouldnt bother anyone..

i slept with a hoody on every night because she loved my hair.. she'd dig into it forever.
i also slept with socks on, because i'd rub my feet (as a habit), and she'd bite on it all night.

and then, one day, i came home from school and found out my mom had given it away while i was at school.

now.. i am 25.. and i live with my mom.. and i still cant have a cat.

i spoke of this rather sad situation to her a couple days ago.. and she seemed to feel really guilty.
she then spoke of living separately so i can finally have a kitten.

i said.. mom.. moving out so i can live with a kitten instead of my mom sounds a bit silly.

anyway. i came home yesterday and found this on the shelf:
